Children and young people from the age of 3 meet most Sunday mornings either at the back of church or in the Mission Room for their own sessions, split into different age groups. When Amwell Awake is happening, there is no Sunday School. On other Sundays, come to church at 10am, and children will either stay at the back or go to the Mission Room, and rejoin the main service in time to come up to the communion rail for a prayer of blessing, and to share with the adults what they have been learning.
On Monday mornings in term time from 10 to 11.30, this Parent & Toddler Group meets in the Mission Room under the cheerful leadership of Clare and Mags. Many of the families are thinking about baptism or thanksgiving, by which their children can be linked to the life of the church, but this is not a requirement for coming to the group. Cost: 50p per session.
This offers a gentle introduction to worship for your pre-school child.
We offer a short friendly service for the smallest of children, involving simple singing, craft activities, drama, puppets and fun! It’s completely free.

Once a month we have an alternative to our formal worship. With music led by a group of singers, interactive talks and worship activities, this is a chance to experience God’s family worshipping him in a different style.
A mix of craft activities, worship, food and fun, this occasional service is for families with primary school age children. It takes place on Sunday afternoons from 4-6pm. Check for news of the next event.
